Boson Protocol WebSummit 2021 Masterclass; The Future of Commerce - When Web2 Meets Web3

The promise of the sharing economy has been broken by Big Tech. These Web2 players aim to extract maximum value out of brands and consumers on their platforms. In this masterclass we shared our vision for decentralized commerce (dCommerce) as our protocol launched to Ethereum Mainnet as well as unveil a new way to buy. We also explored in the live session how our dCommerce protocol enables brands to sell physical items in the Metaverse, using the power of NFTs. Finally we invited our special guest Joe Pace, Head of Business Development at Asics into Boson Portal to discuss how blockchain technology can create new, enriched customer experiences in virtual worlds – and why it should be open.
